We are designing a next generation system to convert chemical fuels into work with our linear engine, pump/motor unit and novel hydraulic circuit. These systems should provide a better more consistent thermal efficiency over a vehicle’s operating range.

Current status:

  • We are doing simulation of the Pump/Motor in Matlab and Simulink.
  • We have dropped out of the Automotive X Prize
  • We need a refuse truck to instrument and collect drive cycle data with.
  • Testing of our Accumulator seal will start soon.
